Fillets of plaice with egg and breadcrumb

Ingredients:

  1. 2 fillets of plaice skinned
  2. 1 egg
  3. 10ozs flour
  4. 2ozs breadcrumb
  5. 10ozs butter
  6. Squeeze of lemon

Method

Beat egg, dust fish with flour, dip fish in egg then into breadcrumb. Fry on pan for 2-3mins on either side.

Season and serve with knob of butter and lemon
